International Music Summit (IMS)
The premier platform for business, culture and education in global electronic music.
Case Study
IMS - built to inspire and serve as a catalyst for positive change across the industry, from the boardroom to the dancefloor.

As the retained global PR Agency for International Music Summit (IMS) Neighbourhood has gained an unparalleled understanding of the industry key issues, music business and wide ranging agenda affecting the electronic music community.
From music rights management, health and wellness, metadata, developing markets and education; since 2017 Neighbourhood has executed engaging and impactful media coverage and creative partnerships with the likes of Resident Advisor, Mixmag, DJ Mag, Music Week, Dancing Astronaut, Electronic Beats and XLR8R in addition to developing culturally driven coverage with the likes of BBC News, Guardian, Vice Noisey, GQ, Telegraph and Shortlist.
IMS returned for its thirteenth edition in April 2022 following a two-year hiatus. One of the first major global industry gatherings to take place since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the summit reunited the entire ecosystem of the genre for three-days of purposeful conversation, connection and celebration.
Across print, broadcast and online media Neighbourhoods on going brief is not only to drive annual delegate attendance and experience but to ensure that IMS has ongoing media and industry advocacy as the leading thought leadership platform for electronic music.
Our unrivalled journalist network allows media activity to encapsulate all of IMS’s important subject themes and achieve press activity in all of the leading global publications.
As a case study our 2018 campaign achieved a staggering 356 individual pieces of online coverage and 24 print articles and has seen both media coverage and advocacy grow significantly year on year.

On a business level the likes of Music Week, Billboard, CMU, Music Business Worldwide, Business Insider all turn to the annual IMS Business Report for vital and telling statistics of how the industry has grown or declined each year. The contents and data are used by professionals across the industry, referenced countless times in market research and journalistic reports, and is an essential tool for the electronic music business.
Adopting a no-panel policy for the first time in the history of the summit, IMS Ibiza Summit 2022 curated a series of keynotes, lectures, conversations, workshops and sessions with industry thought-leaders who brought their extensive knowledge and experience to analyse and identify best practice that the electronic music industry can adopt, rooted in the core values of IMS; sustainability, climate action, equality, innovation, collaboration, transparency, education, mental health and wellbeing. The sensitively designed program was presented to global media from over fifty countries – built to inspire and serve as a catalyst for positive change across the industry, from the boardroom to the dancefloor.
Our role also involved managing media for 2022 global partners and stakeholders including, Microsoft, YouTube, Beatport and Skiddle.
