My City: Adiel – Groove
Not everything is forever in Rome: Adiel had this experience when the legendary Goa Club, which opened in 199 and, closed its doors in 2021 due to the pandemic. At this point, Alessia Di Livio, Adiel’s real name, had already held an eight-year residency there and was continually making a name for herself outside the Italian capital and beyond the country’s borders.
A career that springs from a club – and of course strong releases on her own label Danza Tribale , Tectonic or Stroboscopic Artefacts – seems almost exotic these days with its organic growth.
