Pacha
The iconic red cherries...
Case Study
A return to the essence, origin, and authenticity of a true dance music mecca and beacon of global bohemia.
Since 2018 Neighbourhood has worked with Pacha’s team as their international PR agency.
Since the original boom of dance music in the mid 1980’s and transformation of the island into the ultimate clubbing destination it is known for today – Pacha’s brand has evolved immensely and embraced longevity with unrelenting passion. While the iconic red cherries can be seen around the world through hotels, restaurants and even its own record label, it is undoubtedly at its finest in its spiritual home of Ibiza.
From a converted farmhouse to super club…

As Ibiza’s most iconic club and oldest nightspot the brief centered around enriching the global profile of the club through strategic communications, strategy and stakeholder engagement with a return to the essence, origin, and authenticity of a true dance music mecca and beacon of global bohemia.
Neighbourhood engaged an endless list of specialist and mainstream global media generating desired reach and reporting across print, online and TV platforms around all of the clubs activity and events, covering the full breadth of audience that ranges from media partnerships and media buying with leading dance music magazines to lifestyle, interior design and travel titles keen to cover the clubs first ever interior remodelling and re-design in 40 years.
In addition to regular news outreach and promotion across all event announcements, Pacha’s unquestionable heritage and impact on all aspects of culture was explored editorially in 2018 as celebrated and awarded architect Juli Capella redesigned the historic venue’s spaces, passageways and bar areas in a controversial statement of change.
Key media publications were engaged and invited to experience first hand how Pacha’s original opulent grandeur had been retained with a new sensitivity to the values of forward thinking eco-design and sustainability. This included ELLE, GQ, Marie Claire and HUNGER to design authorities Disegno, Wallpaper* and Creative Review.
Throughout a season, Neighbourhood also engages with stakeholders, teams and media on all events taking place at the club, which over the last few years have included events hosted by Sven Väth, Dixon, Fatboy Slim, Solomun, Calvin Harris and J Balvin.
