The purpose of this policy is to standardise the criteria and process for any media accreditation managed by NBHD Group

Media accreditation is intended for journalists working for legitimate and suitable media outlets. Please be aware that individuals exclusively using social media are encouraged to make this clear during their application and correspondence at the earliest convenience.

This can be validated by providing us with proof of recently published work and a reference contact for managing editor or publisher.

Past accreditation does not guarantee future credentials, and each will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Accreditations are deemed to be strictly non-transferable.

The purpose of media accreditation is for us to provide working journalists with the tools and access required to report on an event, its content, and its participants. We will provide accredited media with physical access to an event including any on-site media privileges available, as well as at our discretion access to interview speakers, spokespersons and event leadership subject to availability.

We will make every reasonable effort to honour media requests for interviews however interviews including their criteria will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Unless instructed otherwise it is expected that media accreditation holders credit NBHD Group  as their source.

Please note that media accreditation will not be provided to marketing, design, booking, advertising or PR agencies, consultants or advisors, market researchers, or social media teams, nor will it be provided to non-editorial employees of legitimate media outlets such as advertising directors or business development roles.

Freelancers and certain new media roles such as filmmakers, influencers, bloggers, vloggers, and podcasters may be subject to a more extensive accreditation assessment. This is likely to include a request to provide recent work for a legitimate media outlet, a forthcoming commission by a legitimate media outlet as well as outlined coverage plans for the upcoming event you are applying for.

Legitimate media outlets include publications or broadcasters that provide news and feature stories to the public through various distribution channels, such as newspapers, magazines, radio, television, and a range of online mediums.

We take the stance that freedom of expression is a fundamental right within the European Union and is a basic cornerstone of a democratic society. We support human rights, civil rights, animal rights, environmental rights, societal rights, and consumer rights.

Neighbourhood explicitly excludes any media that contradicts, compromises, violates, or defames the following:

– Equality, diversity, and inclusion.

– Any religions, beliefs, and ideologies.

– Any real, verified, or factual truths.

– The privacy or dignity of a person on a personal level.

Unprofessional activities will not be tolerated either in advance or during an event and can result in media credentials being revoked at any time. Unprofessional activities include, but are not limited to:

– Conduct deemed disruptive or disrespectful to others

– Conduct deemed unlawful or unsafe

– Collecting photographs or interviews for purposes other than intended accredited purpose.

NBHD Group retains the right to cancel any media accreditation at their discretion and at any time.

It is understood that all individuals granted media accreditation agree to these ground rules via written confirmation.
