Known for her dripping, oozing sculptures in vibrant colors, The show is hosted at the esteemed Chefas Projects, and marks her fourth exhibition at the Portland gallery.
Cosmic Shake showcases the diversity of Dan Lam’s sculptural works in an expansive body of visually evocative work that often defies gravity with a sense of movement and flutey. Made of painted polyurethane foam and often covered in spikes, her blob-like pieces that appear to melt and drip have brought Lam hordes of social media fans.
Each intricate sculpture oozes quality through its Spikes, wiggles, and curves; drawing viewers into a world of vibrant colors, organic forms, and eye-catching textures.
