In the overspill of talent flooding out of Scotland, La La has proved one of the most exciting up-and-comers on her quick road to global renown. Hailing from Glasgow, La La – real name Lauren Andrew – was first recognised for her shows at the city’s locale of Sub Club before fetching a residency at Edinburgh’s iconic FLY club which she’s now held down for the past six years.
Now securing a weekly slot on London’s Rinse FM, La La’s signature house stylings have crossed the border – and even overseas where she’s landed spots at Ibiza’s Hï, Amnesia, CircoLoco, amongst others. Developing on the curation of her own imprint Brand New which releases music from Scottish-only artists, autumn 2022 will also see the growth of its sister label titled Sound As, promising to release bangers from further afield.
